Palestinian-American Adolescent Freed Following Nine Months in Israel's Imprisonment

A American-Palestinian teenager after completing a nine-month period in Israeli detention without being charged was released.
Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 when he was arrested last February throughout the West Bank territory, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida under suspicion of rock throwing against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
United States authorities said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.
Now sixteen years old, needed medical care upon gaining freedom, family members reported.
According to them, he appears pale, underweight, and experiencing medical problems acquired while detained.
Through an official statement, family spokesperson conveyed their "tremendous relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we are focused on ensuring Mohammed receives the immediate medical attention he requires after experiencing harsh conditions and cruel circumstances for months."
US officials announced ongoing to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.
{"American leadership has no higher priority to the protection and welfare of American nationals"," officials stated.
Several congressional representatives submitted a formal letter to diplomatic officials and the White House, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.
Mr Ibrahim, with four children who runs an ice cream business from Florida, had earlier stated his child admitted guilt regarding stone throwing due to physical abuse.
The father hadn't visited or communicated with his son since the arrest, and only heard what had happened to him via legal paperwork.
The teenager remained absent formal charges in Ofer prison on the West Bank.
It is also home to mature inmates, some of whom have been convicted for major terrorist activities and homicide.
Approximately several hundred young Palestinian detainees currently imprisoned in Israel, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Numerous remain uncharged and human rights groups, and international organizations, report instances of abuse and torture.
After the teenager's freedom, Mr Kadur said relatives would persist in advocating demanding accountability for their family member Sayfollah Musallet.
This young American-Palestinian who the Palestinian health ministry said was beaten to death by radical settlers during a confrontation in July.
Initially, defense forces stated officials were investigating accounts of a Palestinian had died.
Both young men had worked together within the family's frozen treats establishment in Tampa, Florida.
No charges have been filed regarding Sayfollah's death.
"We expect United States leadership to ensure our family's safety," the uncle stated.
