Homages Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight following the shocking loss of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones continue to honor the pair.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, stated he only now felt able to post publicly about his deep grief.

"Adequate time has gone by that I can at last articulate my loss into words," posted Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner created an instant bond. "As we began spending more time together I realized this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the production, commenting that he could not remember "a single day without laughter".

"This story is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Values that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the best person to guide it," Elwes wrote.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, stating: "Asserting that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He finished with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the protagonist.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he grasped the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese noted.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge ruled to block the disclosure of the Reiners' autopsy reports, at the request from the local authorities.

A judicial mandate issued a embargo on the investigation to limit the public release of "related notes, evidence and photographs" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of homicide, with a official listing citing the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".

Fallout and Commentary

Following the deaths, public individuals offered different comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, making divisive statements that were widely condemned by several public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his voice to the critics last week. Conversing on his podcast, Rogan described the remarks as "shocking" and implied they revealed a concerning deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan concluded by remarking that an aide could have intervened when the decision to comment on the death was made.
