Beloved Star The actor Pat Finn, Recognized For Roles in Friends and The Middle, Has Died at the Age of Sixty.
US entertainer Pat Finn, who appeared in iconic television series such as "Friends", Seinfeld and The Middle, has passed away aged 60.
The skilled improv artist passed away at his residence in Los Angeles on Monday after undergoing treatment for a cancer diagnosis from 2022 onward, as reported by media reports.
"He considered no one a stranger - just potential friends he hadn't encountered," his relatives shared in a announcement.
They added that he had "lived his life fully - with joy and exuberance".
A Notable Career on Screen
His debut TV appearance was on the George Wendt Show in 1995, where he appeared as the lead character's sibling.
He subsequently landed a regular part on "Murphy Brown" in the latter half of the 1990s.
He played the part of Joe Mayo in the show Seinfeld in 1998, portraying a social organizer famous for delegating burdensome jobs to his guests.
Throughout the 90s and 2000s, he made guest appearances on numerous well-known programs, such as:
- The King of Queens
- Friends
- That '70s Show
- "House"
Finn was perhaps best known for portraying Bill Norwood in "The Middle", appearing throughout eight seasons from 2011 to 2018.
His cinematic roles are "It's Complicated" and "Santa Paws 2".
Off-Screen Life
Away from his television work, Finn was deeply involved in improvisational comedy and worked as a teacher at the Colorado university, where he was a professor.
He was part of a comedy group of six named "Beer Shark Mice".
"Pat coached, befriended and mentored numerous pupils over the years and it's nearly impossible to find anyone anyplace who has a bad thing to say about him," his loved ones expressed.
Paying homage, peer Richard Kind remarked there was "nobody more kind, gentle, and humorous, down to earth person you could encounter".
"Perpetually optimistic, assisting others to improve and be funnier. A wonderful father and man," he shared publicly.
The actor is remembered by his spouse Donna, his children, and his parents and siblings.
